I’m Chris, Founder and Director at Draftsmith. I’ve spent 25 years working within structural engineering consultancies as a technician, supporting engineers across a wide range of building projects.

I’m a Technician Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) and registered with the Engineering Council UK.

I appreciate the challenge of producing drawings and models that need to be clear, accurate, and ready for use on live projects.

Draftsmith was established in 2011, providing structural draughting and modelling support to architects, engineers, and contractors working across a wide range of building sectors.

Outside of work, I spend time with my family and walking my dog Ziggy, a Rough Collie.
